I'm a little surprised people are again writing off the Spurs.

I will AS ALWAYS stick with my motto that the defending NBA champ is the favorite unless something drastic has occurred.

So, in light of the dismantling of the Heat last year....until I hear of mass injury to the Spurs....I think they will repeat.

Spurs beat the macs tonight, and with no Leonard, no splitter, no mills, and minimal minutes for Tim/tony/Manu they looked very good.

Most people don't understand the significance of "pounding the rock" or the "good to great" on that ring.

Yep. The Spurs definitely know how to develop their players.

Some teams tend to have a history of making great trades\acquisitions (Lakers) or spotting talent (Bulls)

Spurs IMO have a knack for player development.

Are you?

This is an annual thing for us.

Barkely is saying that the Mavericks are now the team to beat in the West... even though the Spurs won last night without TWO of their starters.
