the game was lost by the Cavs bench........only 9 points for the Cavs and all scored by JR SMITH who choked in the second half.
CAVS have Marion and Miller that should have played.
This is no surprise. They are in the bottom 3 worst scoring benches in NBA Finals history. Warriors had the best defense in the NBA all year and have been the best in the playoffs too. Guys like Smith, Shumpet and Dellevadova can get off against weak teams in the East, not gonna happen against GS. Even guys off the Warriors bench are better defenders than many of teams out east.
the key will be the Cavs bench.....they got outscored 34 to 9 by the Warriors Bench..........that is bad game and the main reason the Cavs blew this game.
That's the same shot Jeff Teague took at the end of Game 3 in the ECF which made me very annoyed. The fade away shot with 2 seconds left in the game is a very low percentage shot when you can drive to the basket or pull up for a shorter jump shot.
It is the same shot basically every star player takes 99% of the time. Very annoying.

JR Smith has to hit those open shots or bring Mike Miller or Marion off the bench........Marion is a good defender.
To quote myself from earlier today "I don't predict scores but Warriors will win by double digits and Cavs wont even score 100, much less 108". If it wasn't for that layup they gave LeBron with 8 seconds left, Warriors win by double digits and the Cavs don't score 100. Damn
Little misleading considering the game went into overtime though. Your initial prediction makes it sound like you thought it would not be close.

LOL, no. Especially not with LeBron jacking up 38 shots 4 of the 5 Warriors starters were in double figures and their bench played great. They are a TEAM. Thats always going to beat someone like LeBron playing hero ball.

JR Smith going 3-13 and 0 points in the second half was the problem when you are the best player from the bench for the Cavs.

It was an absolutely terrible over time for the Cavs. Even before Irving went out I think they missed their first 3 or 4 shots to quickly fall behind four points. Then it was just a disaster with him out. Desperation heaves.
