More-and-more words seem to offend people. I wonder how "entourage" rather than "posse" would work.
Frankly, I think that LeBron is too full of himself. Maybe that's what happens when people call you "King."
Another previously well liked person who turned into an unreasonable idiot once he sold his sole to the devil and endorsed the crime boss. Amazing how getting into bed with snakes can change a person.
Phil's argument about 'Posses' wanting to be accommodated may have some merit, given the history of a lot of entourages, stars, etc, wanting access! (See Iverson's entourage when he was playing, and Drake, now, wanting access to locker rooms!). But Rich Paul and Maverick Carter have built a darn good business rep for themselves, and to call them a 'posse' definitely was going to be taken a wrong way!

Really, no offense to his friends but the job is marketing.....Lebron.
The ONLY reason they have the job is because of childhood friendship to Lebron....so OF COURSE people are going to suspect they don't have any real talent.
ESPECIALLY considering the timing of the quote\comment etc.
Bottom line is that even though his friends might be great at what they do, the NBA has a BAD DARK history of poor management involving friends and realtives.
To dismiss criticism of Lebrons POSSE, which it def is....that's ridiculous.

Can we have a discussion on the topic at hand without bringing politics in to it? If you voted for Trump, cool. If you would've been paying attention LeBron said he accepted the results and will respect Trump's office.
If the leader of a group doesn't want that group to be called a posse, it's his right to be annoyed when the term is used.
Doesn't make it racist as is implied.
