The ‘97-‘98 Team, definitely. The first three of the modern team can hang with the greats, but Harden and Lilliard aren’t the types to carry a team to greatness, as evidenced by their respective playoff runs.

No doubt the 98 team. No one on the current team could stop Shaq or Duncan. Oh and there’s that one called MJ from 98. Hmm, Would Lebron guard MJ? That would be interesting to see. Shaq and/or Duncan would likely score at will against AD and Durant. Then there’s the Mailman and the glove. Just not even close in my opinion.

There are three top-10 players of all-time on the 90s team. Harden doesn’t play D, and Lillard is Fool’s Gold.

It’s silly because all-nba teams use g, g, f, f, c format which can leave the team with no wings one year, and no point the next. Neither of these teams has a chance of guarding the other.

Who guards two of the three 2018 wings? The Glove gets Lillard, Jordan gets Harden. That leaves a power forward to guard LeBron on the wing and a de facto center in Duncan to guard Durant. Both teams foul each other out. It’s a truly horrible match up.

Nope, it comes down to whether the 2018 team can make outside jumpers better than the 97 team can make layups and dunks.

Well the 97-98 team is going to own the paint and that will be tough to get around.

Holy crap Shaq is going to feast on that.

On top of that, they have 4 guys that are considered some of the best defenders at their position all-time.

Lebron & Durant will do fine but there is a real drop off after that and we all know what Jordan is going to do to Harden and there won't be a "safe word" either.

In short, Lebron and Durant are going to have their own hands full and the guys after that are going to get clobbered.

The 2018 team is going to get creamed on turn-overs and offensive rebounds.

They'll do well with the 3-pointers but I don't see it as sustainable when Shaq is going to shoot 60% and even his misses turn into Duncan etc. put-backs.

Lebron is a great defender but the problem is he's the only great defender on that squad along with a couple guys that are maybe average.

There’s absolutely nothing 2018 can do to contain Shaq. I don’t think Duncan would really punish Durant. He wasn’t that kind of player, and if he didn’t dominate Dirk, he’s not going to eat KD’s lunch.

1998 would probably win 150-140 with Shaq as the unanimous MVP.

The 97-98 team without a doubt. MJ is still the best player ever in my book, but in this matchup he could just take a break and let the 97-98 big men completely dominate. It's like grown men playing against little kids.
