Plus, Chicago ain't just any other city. We talkin about an Alpha World City, quite similar to NY, but on a smaller scale (hence the nickname "Second City"). I don't even think LA is an Alpha world city. On the one hand, you're right that Chicago ain't quite LA or NY; on the other hand, every other city in the US ain't on Chicago's level either. Only Boston, Miami, Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, The Bay Area, Seattle, DC and Denver Comes close. However, Chicago is still the betterin regards to Media, Advertisement, Banking, Business, entertianment (until winter hits)and sports market.

I do admit that city like Miami has a huge advantage: the weather is better, it's more popular destination for travelers, beautiful people, no state income tax and more nightlife for the rich and famous (same thing for LA and NY). However, the sports market in Miami ain't got $#!+ on Chicago. At the end of the day, Lebron will make more money in Chicago than Miami. The same goes for Wade. Anyway, NY and LA might be the big two, but add in Chicago, it becomes the big 3.
Nice idea about a big 3, just a little far fetched. Chicago has done a good job over the years with all their teams but they really need the Cubs to finally win one and then maybe they will finally get the due respect as a city. In my own opinion, going to chicago makes no sense because he can just as easily stay in Cleveland and have ownership bring in more free agents to help him. The only way it would make sense going there is if he went with Wade and Bosh as a trio, otherwise it doesn't make any sense.
As for Rodman, over the years he became a bigger media ***** and eventually was brought in as a specialist to compliment the Jordan and Pippen team so they wouldn't have to bang for boards.

Yep, All of Rodmans movies and TV appearances started around 1995...the year he joined the Bulls. They exploded after the championship and continue to this day based upon all the exposure he got being the wild-child for the 2nd Bulls 3-peat. Even my mom knew who he was because he played with MJ during "the era".

If Cleveland extend Lebron's contract to the max, then they won't be able to afford any other quality players in the future (unless they trade). Cleveland is a championship caliber team. However, they can't get over the hump without another dynamic scorer or two. They need another person who can pick up the slack when Lebron is off or being doubled or triple teamed. Shaq is too old, Williams isn't that good yet and Jamison is more of a pick-and-role, slash-and-cut and open man type player. Jamison isn't a play maker and isn't really a go-to guy either. Plus, as we saw in the Boston series, he has a problem playing against players taller than him.

Rose is a lot more dynamic scorer and a playmaker who is a franchise player with or without Lebron, Wade or Bosh. Last season he was hurt and didn't have many people go to on the offensive end. However, when he got healthy towards the end of the season, he led the bulls to the playoffs averaging 25+ points a game and 27 in the playoffs.

Noah is kinda like Varenjo but taller and a better rebounder and passer. He doesn't have much of an offensive game YET, but he has heart, energy and will play his *****! off. I think he's the type of player Lebron needs. Plus, what ever Noah's lacking on offense, Lebron will make up for that. He will make Noah look better offensively than he really is. Kind of in the same way Chris Paul did for Tyson Chandler.

Taj Gibson is like Noah with a better 15 footer and has more potential to be a low post threat. He's also a good rebounder and a good defender. As long as he stays out of foul trouble, he has the potential of being a great offensive and defensive player. If we get bosh, he would be an even better off the bench.

The bulls should keep Acie Law as a back up for rose. He has potential to me. He's a streaky shooter, but is capable of having a few big games. Plus, he's still young and coachable. Under the right system he could put up big numbers off the bench.

Then there's Thibodeau... A defensive mastermind who Jeff Van Gundy, back in the day, hired for his offensive coaching skills. 20 years of asst coaching and responsible for Boston's dominant defense. I think this guy is what the Bulls need.

Bosh wants to win, unfortunately no one thinks Houston will win with or without him so it's doubtful he will go there. I think he'll follow wherever Wade goes whether Chicago or Miami.

Sounds like Bosh might have stepped in it. Toronto seems to be peeved at Bosh's little traveling lovefest and is indicating he can just go....no sign and trade....oh well, there goes 30mil for Bosh if it's true.

Not only does he lose the money, but it cuts a whole lot of teams out of the picture. Houston is one of those teams. They don't have the cap space to sign him straight up. Also, if Toronto is unwilling to do a sign and trade the idea of a "Big 3" is basically dead. Miami could probably still pull it off. Of course they would have to round out their roster with junior college walk-ons once they finish paying Wade, Lebron, and Bosh max money.

More to the point, without a sign and trade Bosh is looking at one of only a few teams: New York, Miami, Chicago, or New Jersey. New York is probably out since they appear to be going after Amare. I really don't see him going to New Jersey. It will most likely come down to Miami or Chicago for Bosh. It could set up a scenario where two of the "Big 3" end up on one team with one guy as the odd man out. My gut feeling is Lebron is that guy.

If Wade and Bosh were to go to Chicago it would be devastating for Lebron. He most likely would go back to Cleveland and would have the best team in the EC right across the way in his division. The Bulls would be a multi-year obstacle to him winning all those titles he is supposed to win.

The interesting thing is both Lebron and Wade seem to want to play with Bosh. Chris Bosh will lose some money, but he will (most likely) end up on what will become the best team in the Eastern Conference. The question is who will be left out, Wade or Lebron?

After i saw what the Rockets had to give up(Battier, Ariza, Scola) in order to get Bosh, i kinda hope the Raptors don't do a sign/trade and Bosh will get 30mil less. That would be good news for Bulls, Knicks, Nets, Heat though since they have the cap space. This eliminates alot of other teams and narrows down the list for Bosh in a way.

Plus, i really don't think Bosh wants to be in Houston. He probably doesn't believe they can win a title or maybe the city isn't 'glamorous' enough for him.

Good points. We shall see....so much up in the air right now.

Bosh\Wade with what the Bulls already have is a handful.

I think your right about the glamour.. Thing is don't many athletes make Houston a part time home at least? Bosh is really coming off as a wannabe, just hanging with the alpha dog -but wanting max $$$. Poor Daryl Morey, he was stacking his chips so Bosh or another FA could do a sign and trade, but these dudes are often too stupid.
