In the job search for our move top Bend I have found one at Madras High. Can anyone give me some advise on the rating of this school. I am not looking for my children to go their but rather from a teacher perspective. Is this a place that learning happens? Would you want your children to attend? Thanks for the replies.

Yes, I actually thought it was about 1hr but Ive done that before and these days jobs are hard to come by so a bit of a drive is a bit of a trade off. What I would like to know is does Madras High have any major issues. Is it a school in trouble? I have read that it is starting to turn around but I would like to get more input on that.

No, dont do that. Not only the school, but the drive is not what you may think it is in winter. We are a little south of Madras and it takes us a hour to drive to Bend on good days. In winter expect a 2 hour drive and gas is expensive!!
