Looking for an outdoor, beautiful setting place for wedding that isn't real pricey. Near river or mountain views with fairly easy access. Anyone got some ideas? Places I have looked into are really pricey! For about 150 people. Need help!!!

Default Outdoor Wedding

Hello,
You can use any of the local lakes without paying a dime. We just Married a couple at Crescent Lake and it was absolutely beautiful!! We had the reception at the Crescent Lake Inn and it didnt cost a dime except for the Cabin rentals.

I don't know what it costs, but Bend Parks & Rec has a building in Shevlin Park called Aspen Hall that is very, very popular for weddings. If you are willing to risk being outside, then you can reserve a large picnic area in Shevlin Park for very little cost. Shevlin Park is about 650 acres, Tumalo Creek runs through it, and it is only about 5 miles from downtown Bend. It's a beautiful place.

What time of year? Pine Marten Lodge atop Mt Bachelor can be reserved for weddings in the summer for a LOT less than you would think, unless they've raised their prices a bunch. Guests would have to ride the chairlift, so that could be a plus or minus depending on your (and your guests') spirit of adventure.
