Hmmm Loud Ya say...I have 4 kids and lived through all of their teenage....Tell me all about loud and long before I got Sydney when I was a kid we had conures and quakers ... much louder birds...She really is not loud...What causes loud is lack of attention.Guess what...she is not lacking...She is with me every day. She gets hand made food. I cook for her everyday. she is with me or at the least in the same room.She makes noises but not loud squaky screamy noises.and Going by your name(quaker15) If u have one I can guarantee you a quaker is a whole lot louder then a Goffins. To each their own and for me I made the right decision and I researched plenty before i brought her home and spent time with her
Loud... and parrot in the same sentence. Imagine that? And dusty? I've never met a parrot of any type that wasn't a mess. Even my relatively quiet and clean senegal is loud and messy. But he more than makes up for it in cuteness and entertainment value.

Not messy as all birds are messy. I am talking about dusty. Since you never own a cockatoo before, you probably have no idea.
