As I said, I've lived there - still own property there for decades. I know what I've seen and experienced in Birmingham. You probably think Montgomery is not redneck too. Look, it's all Alabama, it's not New Hampshire or California. It's also laughable to me for anyone who thinks Birmingham is full of "left wing extremists". Yeah right. You bet.

Never said it was full of them. I said that of the white population in the city limits, almost all are either relatively well off(most of them) or very progressive left wing in their thinking(a few). It is obvious you haven't lived here in a while and are over the age of 45. I can assure you the mentality of many in Birmingham proper has changed considerably in as little as 8 years. Birmingham has one of the highest concentrations of hipsters in the Southeast.

Go look at the I believe in Birmingham facebook page or the Birmingham Reddit page or attend and event with hundreds of people at one of the breweries. Or you drive past the $700,000 homes in Forest Park. These are the white people in the city of Birmingham.

I don't really think of Birmingham as redneck... but the CSA certainly has more than its fair share of rednecks.

Also, lol at Birmingham's "left wing extremists". Birmingham's true liberal population is one of the smallest percentages in the country.

But you go on and keep thinking that Birmingham is more liberal than New York if it makes you sleep better at night.

Of course you didn't, but you didn't have to. The strawman king gets to determine what you say and what you mean.

When you post a link to an obviously flawed survey which shows Birmingham as being one of the most liberal cities in the country, then yes... you are going to be linked to that information in the way you present it.

If I were to post a link of the greatest men to ever live and Hitler made the list, I am sure I would be mocked for the link. Just like you are being mocked for posting that hilarious link. Gary, Indiana more liberal than Berkeley? LOL. Like I said, voting democrat to keep the welfare checks coming does not make a city liberal.

The fact you guys actually think Birmingham is liberal... or are trying to make it look as such just goes to show how little you know about the rest of the country and world.

I am assuming you guys want to show Birmingham's liberalness by completely ignoring 80% of the metro area. Just be sure that if you do this, to go ahead and call Birmingham one of the poorest major cities, one of the most crime-ridden major cities, and so on and so forth.
