It appears Hoover officials are starting to warm up to the idea of more mixed use development. This development will include more multifamily with a small-scale commercial retail component on the ground level. I can see this maturation of the Acton Road corridor into some more of the neighborhood scale, multimodal area with time since the area is within the heart of Hoover.
