I'm in the market for a used mini. Mellow Yellow or Liquid Yellow look so cool. Any one have a mini? Let me know how you like it. Any dislikes? Thanks.

I have one. I love love love it. Mine is a convertible and actually the second MINI I have owned. Lots of fun to drive. I don't like big vehicles at all, and the MINIs are stylish and sporty.

There are quirks - dash rattles are common, and rear seat room is extremely limited. But I cannot see myself driving anything else. Even if I had more money - I'd just buy a newer JCW convertible.

You can read through several threads over at MINI COOPER :: North American Motoring - Forum List

That's pretty much the biggest Mini fan site / forums I'm aware of. Lots of good info.

I own a Mellow Yellow Clubman with a black roof and black racing stripes. It also has the checkered applique on the door handles and rear view mirrors. i don't think they are painting any yellow cars currently.

To tell the truth, I wasn't crazy about the color when I first bought it, but the car had all the other options I wanted. I especially enjoy the twin sun roofs. I've only owned the car since last August, and so far, it's been everything I expected. The Clubman is a sports car you can haul a lot of junk in, and has a longer wheelbase than a coupe, which makes for a slightly smoother ride. But it handles just as quickly as a coupe.

And I decided the yellow was a good color for the car. The Clubman isn't as small as it appears to be- side by side with most compacts, it's about the same size, but sits quite a bit lower. The yellow/black combo on mine makes it very visible and noticeable in traffic, so it's quite good, and I'm getting used to it now.

Mine's also yellow. Interchange Yellow to be exact. And it's a great color for such a small car:

So far so good, with it, though it had a check engine light come on at 100 miles for a loose oil cap...

I think yellow is an excellent color for Mini Cooper.

I know three people who own Minis. 1 of the 3 has been a maintenance nightmare. Towed to the dealer three times, at least under warranty. The other two have been OK.

Huge MINI fan here, I have a black 2012 MCS with the John Cooper Works tuning kit, suspension, wheels, and aero kit. The fun-to-drive factor is simply unmatched. I can't speak highly enough about it. I wouldn't trade it for a car that cost twice as much!
