Default Boise...you won me over.

I have been looking at various places for a couple of months now. I started reading the Money Magazine/Forbes Magazine "Lists," picked a few places that I thought "fit my needs" checked them out...but all in all...Boise "did it" for me. I can't really say why. I think when you hang out a place for a few days..you either "get it" or "you don't." Maybe you arrive at a new place and "things fall into place" or you arrive and things become a hassle...you get lost..people are a^^holes, etc....

A concern for me is the "social" scene. I'm an early 30s, laid-back Californian..are there any "laid back" late 20s/early 30s "Boise Babes" or are they all snatched up? I will have to find that out for myself.

And no..I'm not fleeing a bad home situation..I'm not "cashing out and looking to buy cheap"...I'm just looking for an up-n-coming place with a lot to do where I can build a quality life.

I think I found it in Boise and I can't wait to move there.

Congrats.

I've heard mixed reviews on the singles life here for that age group. It depends on how social you are. In my opinion it's a bit tough, but other people disagree. It's probably like most places outside of major metro areas, to be honest.

Well, welcome to Boise, I hope it's everything you're looking for and then some. It's very up-n-coming and I think you'll enjoy the change of lifestyle. I wish you all the best and congratulations on your big move.
