I so understand.

I literally have to be dragged away... there is always one more to look at.

Today, at one of the better honey holes in the area:

Fiction
*The Savage Detectives, Roberto Bolaño
*Shreik, An Afterword, Jeff Vandermeer
*The Master of Ballantrae, by Robert Louis Stevenson
*Bones of the Moon, by Jonathan Carroll
*V, by Thomas Pynchon
Bone, Vol. 6, Jeff Smith
The Sound and the Fury, by William Faulkner
East of Eden, by John Steinbeck
The Siege of Krishnapur, by J.G. Farrell (nyrb classics)
A Way of Life, Like Any Other, by Darcy O'Brien (nyrb classics)

Non-Fiction
The Great Influenza, John M. Barry
The Golden Bough, James George Frazer
Colleges That Change Lives, by Loren Pope
Under the Banner of Heaven, by Jon Krakauer

@ $1 per book. Asterisked titles were ones I was actively looking for.

This morning netted the entire Horatio Hornblower Series (vols 1-11, Back Bay Books) by C.S. Forester. $1 each and all like new.

Love them! I go every year. Miami-Dade Library used book sale. It usually lasts about three days.
I only go with a definitive budget, which helps me make hard choices to stay within it.
(Also I take a reusable cloth bag, and ride the Metrorail there and back, so that keeps me from going overboard with the number of purchases, as well. The books are great, and the prices can't be beat.)
