......I did read "Warmth of Other Suns." One of THE best books I've ever read! My own family's history, migrating from the tobacco fields of North Carolina, popped right out of that book!

As for caste, my church is having three different days of virtual discussion, and I have yet to buy it!

I am planning to read it. Requested from the library. I have seen her in discussions and I think she has some very interesting ideas about the structure of and history of caste in many societies.

I have not read it but I have it on hold at the library ( a very popular book so the wait will be months). My book club just read it and thought very highly of it and it made of interesting discussions. I did want to read the other book The Warmth of Other Suns so I may just seek that one out as well.
