I have 2 extremely old books and I'd like to get them both priced. there is a better word but I'm high on cold meds that don't seem to be working and can't think of it.
anyway, what would I look for to get it looked at?

try Alibris or Powell's, both of which deal in used books. Prices will be highly dependent on condition, and there are strict grading terms for condition, so what might look to you like "great" or "good" may not be technically that condition.
Alibris is a better bet - I bought a history of the county I live in, published in 1941 with only 300 copies ever printed, off of them. And it cost me $50 for a 600+ page, leather bound book, so don't be surprised if the books are not as valuable as you might hope.
There is also a site called Abebooks that has rare books. Because a book is old does not necessarily make it rare, though.
ETA: I see someone is selling the book I bought for $50 for $1,500 on Abebooks. Sounds like it might be a slight different version though, because mine is gold-leaf leather (faux I assume) and theirs is cloth-cover with additional plates.
