I have always though this guy was hacky. I never got it. Salinger and king walk a tight rope for the most over-rated writers in the last 100 years.
Right On!!!! :d

I have to disagree. I have read just about everything the man has ever written (except for the latest - still haven't gotten my copy of Under the Dome) and enjoyed every one of them. And, though I found some of the differences disconcerting, I've also enjoyed all of the movies and/or tv mini-series made from his books and stories.
I think the point is that everyone's tastes in books and movies is different, so thank God there are so many very different authors and so many very different movie makers.

And, BTW, his name is STEPHEN King, not STEVEN. You can dislike his writing all you want, but please have enough respect to get his name right.

The mispelling does NOT change anything except that I pay little attention to his . AS I said different strokes for different folks...you have your opinion...I have mine...we agree to disagree . PS..Isn't this like arguing over how to pronounce potato....???
