Where are the major residential construction projects in Boston? I've read about a few in the planning stages for the Innovation District and the Millenium Tower at the old Filene's site, but, I don't see much else happening in Boston. There is obviously a significant shortage of housing in Boston, yet, I don't sense any major movement to encourage development in the City. Am I wrong? I find this very frustrating with the cost of living in Boston continuing to skyrocket, thus, forcing many to look outside or move away from Boston. Even Miami, ground zero for the housing crisis, is already on a faster pace than Boston to add more to their housing inventory with 17 major developments scheduled in the coming year.
