I know what most of those people are going through - I was in NYC on 9/11 and although I was fortunate enough not to be in the immediate vicinity of the twin towers, the anxiety you feel not knowing if it's over, if you or your family/friends are safe, not being able to get home, etc is horrible. Then the realization of what actually happened when it's over hits you like a ton of bricks. It affects everyone psychologically.

As I said before, my thoughts and prayers are with everyone in the Boston area and my deepest sympathies go out to those who lost their lives, those who were injured and to those who had to witness that horrific event.
Sweet Caroline at Yankee Stadium!

Our deepest sympathies to all those who were victims of the attack. Thankfully, the injured were in the hands of some of the most capable medical professionals in the world.

With love to all Bostonians from Florida....

DawnMTL, my heart just broke into a thousand pieces. Jesus, if you are out there, you better have your arms wrapped around this little boy.

Where were the two bombs that were dismantled? This was reported on Fox News for two hours straight.

Also, why has there been no follow up on the bomb found in St. Ignatius Church near BC? That was on the news as well.

When I called BCPD they said that they hadn't even heard of the incident.

It seems both of these subjects have just been swept under the rug.
Pear Martini, what part of the Original Post and the Original Post topic of discussion did you not understand?
