OP, Broomfield is only partially in the BVSD, so look closely if you are aiming for a specific High School/district. For example, Legacy HS, also serving Broomfield, is in Adams 12 SD.
I don't have any experience with either of these Highs Schools, but I see plenty of kids living in Broomfield HS attendance area open enrolled at Fairview (one of the high schools in Boulder).
I think some kids do that for the IB program. Broomfield schools have the lowest out-open enrollment rates in BVSD. It looks like 15 students (out of 1198) open-enrolled at Fairview this year.

Not completely accurate.
Most of Broomfield is much closer to Boulder.
Central Broomfield to DT Denver is 40-45min during rush hour, especially during these past 3-4 years. You'll make it in 20min midday or on the weekend.
