Hello all.

So, will be hanging out in Denver for a week or so this coming May. Definitely going to spend at least one day in Boulder.

I've been to Boulder once back in 2010, saw some street performances on Pearl Street.

My question is, are there performances even on weekdays? Or is it just a weekend thing?

I don't even remember what day of week I visited last time.

Also, I've heard parking is an issue, which is fine and all gotta do what ya gotta do, BUT in your experiences, is a weekend visit "better" than a weekday visit??

Usually not many street performers on weekdays in May - more of a summer thing. But there are some.
Parking is really not an "issue". There is metered parking on the streets as well as several parking garages that surround downtown: Visit | Parking | Downtown Boulder, CO
I've never had a problem finding a parking space. Sundays are free -- maybe it's harder to find a spot then.

I do appreciate this info, thank you!

I'm looking forward to my visit again.

Sounds like Sundays might be a bit harder to find parking since it is free and more people might show up. Either way, sometimes ya gotta deal with traffic and lots of people but it's usually worth it in the end

I think Saturdays are free as well. At least they used to be. That's parking garages. Not sure about street parking.

Memorial Day weekend is the Boulder Creek Festival. Parking will be tough that weekend, but very easy to deal with the rest of the time.

Sorry to bump this thread, but, on a Saturday visit, about what time of day do the "street performances" start?? Is there an ideal time of day to visit??

It has a lot to do with the weather and number of people on the mall. Generally, 2-3 pm is a good time.
