I am relocating to the Boulder area and am looking for something fairly specific and was hoping you could point me in the right direction.

-- Within 30 minutes driving time of Boulder
-- Build or Buy, don't care which
-- Lots of space, want privacy without having nosey neighbors
-- Budget is 2.5M
-- High speed, quality internet is a must-have

Any suggestions on certain areas I should be looking?

Thanks

So, are you looking for a view or not? (You have it stated in the subject, but not in the list of "must haves" in the post).

Are you looking for something like this? 8818 W Phillips Rd, Boulder, CO 80301 | Zillow

30 min drive from Boulder for a killer view would be anywhere on a hill in east Boulder county. I live close to the house I linked (although not in a 2-million mansion) and the views are spectacular.
You can also check out Erie, as they are within 30 minutes, far enough from Boulder to actually see the Divide, and may have some large lots.

One of my other favorite views is from houses just north-east of Baseline reservoir - view of the Flatiron over the waters of the reservoir.

Basically, Boulder is expensive, but with your budget you have lots of choices .

Thanks Ohio! Sorry yes, a view is something I'm really hoping to have. Thanks for the link, I'll check it out.

Do you want to be in the hills West of Boulder or out on the plains East of Boulder?

The best views of the mountains are generally out East towards Lafayette.
