Watching the entire card , including the Mayweather-Canelo fight, made me think of Don King. He was nowhere to be seen. His name was never mentioned. He's been shut out. It has been a long time now since King was in the picture of a big fight. The end is near for him it appears.

It's funny you should mention King, a friend of mine asked me the exact same thing during the fight Saturday. I was also wondering what happened to King since we haven't seen him in anyone's corner in a long time. Good riddance.

Thanks for sharing this. I read the entire article and even forwarded it to others. I laughed out loud several times. At the end, it was difficult to not feel a little empathy for him. What an Icon, legend, and greater-than-life person. I had always hoped DK would have written a book. This article is well written condensed version of his life and legacy. Good bad, right or wrong, DK is a never to be forgotten enigma.

Come on, King didn't do anything that boxing promoters have not been doing since the dawn of time, he wasn't the first and he is definitely is not going to be the last

You guys are acting like stealing from a fighter/athlete/musician etc, was perpetrated universally by King and only him

Where did anyone say he was the only one ripping off fighters? Sure there are others, but he was the most notorious along with Arum, Duva, Kushner, etc. There is nothing to glorify regarding King, he is a greedy, corrupt, thieving miscreant. He just happens to be the topic of this thread which is why we're focused on King. He's done more harm to fighters than good.
