According to Dan Rafael, former cruiserweight champion David Haye will not be facing WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko on September 12 at the Commerzbank Arena in Frankfurt, Germany. Haye's manager, Adam Booth, said a deal could not be reached with Klitschko's manager Bernd Boente and adviser Shelly Finkel.
He's not as stupid as I made him out to be. I think he knows that he would be completely demolished by Vitali, so he goes after an easy target in Valuev. Nikolai has zero skills and should be rather easy for someone with boxing skills like Haye. He'll pick up a belt and demand more money for when he goes on to get destroyed by one of the C.litchskos.
If Haye wants to be taken seriously as a heavyweight, he needs to stop playing these silly games. He backed out of the Vlad fight, now he's found a way out of the Vitali fight. Next he'll want to fight Larry Holmes.
A hate that guy. I dont understand why any of corrupt sanctioning bodies would even give him a shot at a title. Im kinda hoping he gets "Nazarethed" in his next heavyweight fight.
