What is the job market (in general) like down there? Is there a high unemployment rate due to NASA? Considering moving there once my husband retires from the Army, since Palm Bay is his hometown. Havent lived there in almost 20 years, what areas would be the ones to avoid?

Idk, in my opinion the job market is terrible here. I have a college degree and vocational degree in 2 separate career fields and cant find work in either. Im also prior- Air Force and use the veterans service to help look for jobs, and still nothing.

according to brevard Times 9.1% unemployment as of September 2012... That's pretty typical for this area of the country.
