Homeowner individual quote. This is direct oceanfront, multi unit building, not high rise. $3250. with 1500. deductible. We have no basis to compare so feedback would be appreciated.

Is that just for the flood insurance, or it's it your total homeowners insurance cost? You would also need to share the value of your unit, as insurance is based on the value of the property.

On a multi-unit building, do you have an HOA that imbeds the overall building insurance cost in the HOA fee? For a direct oceanfront (assuming flood zone), the quoted rate doesn't sound overly high for a typical, high-value, oceanfront property. However, as BrevardRealtor pointed out, it depends on the insured value of your unit.

Need more info but that is crazy high for an individual unit in a multi-unit building unless it's in one of the high-risk areas in Satellite or Indian Harbour.
