Buddhism is a Philosophy, not a religion. It is an error to say anyone WORSHIPS Buddha.

There are quite a lot of oriental concepts expressed in New Testament theology. Many of them were imported from India during the first century by Christians who traveled much, studied much, and thought MORE about the faith they lived as Christians.

I don't think anyone worships Buddha either but I would call Buddhism a religion.

The impulse to worship is central to all human expression. It is often misdirected and poorly expressed. This is called idolatry and this is how man is debased by his inventions.

This is perhaps suited to a different post, but it would be an historic move by the Chinese Government to grant Tibet full autonomy and freedom to exist ... and permission for the Dalai Lama to return unmolested to his homeland. This would create an unprecedented act of generosity that would purchase world goodwill in abundance and give a proper focus to the Olympic Games by a default EXAMPLE. It would leave world governments speechless with admiration and awe.
