Hey, I just found this forum through google and read some of the posts. People seem to be very helpful here and i was wondering if anyone could give me some advice of good places to live for a 23 year old male. I do like to go out on the weekends and was looking for suggestions on the best places to live in the area. Any advice would be great.

I would suggest Allentown- there are some really beautiful apartments and the nightlife is there- Frizzys, Old Pink, Sample, Colter Bay to name a few. All fun places and its also close to Chippewa. Rent is pretty reasonable and its close to the Elmwood Village (another area to look into for living). For someone your age I think it is the best spot- if you have any questions I will be happy to help out anyway I can.

Welcome to Buffalo.

You would be most welcome to the Elmwood Village and Allentown districts in Buffalo - certainly the best locations for people your age. And it is still close to downtown, I know a few people that are very happy in the Downtown area, near the Theatre District and Main Street that are about your age as well. Would recommend highly the recently rated 3rd best city neighborhood in the Nation - the Elmwood Village in Buffalo

A look at Downtown Main Street

It's an extremely beautiful city when looked at with a keen eye! Just look at the metro rail, the glass buildings, the architecture, the old and new, Art Deco, the people, the sign that says Buffalo, theatre, people, city-life. I love to capture everything that is Buffalo into one picture - especially in this pic where everything perspectifies into the tallest skyscraper in Buffalo - HSBC! Okay maybe I'm getting carried away...
