Thanks everyone for your replies! We live in lancaster. he is a bit on the quiet side to people he doesn't know, so that doesn't help him. He is volunteering at an animal shelter and helps me at work too, so he has some volunteer experience. I agree, I think he needs to follow up with calls. I think he would LOVE landscape, I didn't even think of that as an option. thought you had to be older! Thanks again.

Any retail stores (basically any place in a mall or plaza). I worked at a food mart when I was just turning 18. They hired my friend when he was 16. Just have to have your working papers and be willing to work crap jobs (stocking coolers, cleaning floors, cleaning toilets). He should be blanketing the area not just online, but in person too. Talk to the managers of the smaller places. It's hard for ANYONE to get a job, regardless of age. I know Darien Lake is always a summer hit because most of the people that work there are teens. I know that's probably hard because he is 16 and doesn't have a car. So if you are able to drive him or have a friend willing to work with him and drive together.

Just tell him to keep trying and FOLLOW UP!
