had a good hoagie at jims steakhouse. Pretty tastee. Notice there is a proliferation of this white type cheese sauce. First, found it at the bottom of my nachos at the Bison game. Then on the missus steak hoagie. Not bad, just not used to it.

Smokes and gas are tax free on the Res. People fill up and stock up to make the trip worth while.

haha only the locals would understand what you mean by "the res". I used to drive up to Irving all the time to get cigarettes and gas.

Yep, I heard that. I may be taking a run to day. Nice to see the bills get something going vs the bears. I hear the drivins, dives and something or other show on food network (guy f) is gonna be filming at grovers next week. Didnt realize all the deposits on the beer bottles. No worries, got the boy savin em for some extra cash. Had some visitors from chicago this weekend. They brought me 3 pizzas from palermos on 63rd. Thin crust, slightly sweet sauce. Very tasty.

Yep, thanks for the heads up. After still unpacking boxes, decided for a nice drive to Dunkirk. Wanted to see how the walleye fishing was. Stopped at Native Pride in Irving for some smokes and gas, then down 5 to dunkirk.

Was amazed to see all the Polish clubs (being a 1st generation US Polski). Stopped at walleye willies for a cold beer to break the heat. Beach at Dunkirk was nice, as was sunset bay.

My heart goes out to those folks hit by the flood. Drove through silver creek and what a mess.

Yes, Dunkirk has a large Polish American population, as does the Buffalo area in general. Lackawanna, Sloan and Cheektowaga might have some of those clubs as well.

What was wrong with Silver Creek? I know one of the Reservations pretty much surrounds the village.
