Closing on a beautiful home on July 30th I lived in Shelburne for a few years and really enjoyed the feel there. As I had posted earlier, we were focusing on the New North End a bit, but I wasn't sure about the schools and didn't love how far it was from 89. I decided to check out a house in Shelburne and we fell in love with it. It is set back on Hillside Terrace off Meadow Lane, walking distance to the Shelburne Market. We are psyched with our decision!

Thanks for all of your advice, everyone, especially to the lady who told me she was trying to move to Shelburne so her kids could go to that school. Definitely got my wheels turning

Awesome. Good luck with your move. Be sure to check out the Bearded Frog and Bistro Sauce. There is also a cute italian place in the plaza where the Shelburne Supermarket is.

Oh, that was me who inspired your decision to check out Shelburne, and now I think you stole a house from under me Congrats! And I hope to see you around town.

Hello - it IS the one with the pool in the backyard... it was a FSBO... I'm so sorry we stole your house!!! Can't thank you enough for making me reconsider that area. Keep me posted - perhaps we will end up neighbors???

LOL!!! I knew that house would go quickly....we weren't in a position to buy it since we haven't sold our house yet. But I've been eyeing the market for months now, and you got a great buy for that price! I know some very cool people in that neighborhood. You'll love it. I'm psyched for you! It would be fun to come over and meet you and go for a swim!!!!

Cool! I will certainly keep you posted. The swim will have to wait til 2011 sadly. We are closing July 30, but not moving in until Sep 24! Sigh. We got the house for a good amount below asking price too. I hope you are able to sell your home soon and purchase your next property... I noticed another house for sale a few houses down from ours. It's such a great time to buy!

Best of luck - talk soon!

Wow! Good for you....you'll be here just in time for a spectacular fall show. Let me know if you need help with the move or meeting neighbors.
