Hi all,
I live in Montpelier and am going to be out of town for 2 weeks. Any advice as to the most economically efficient way for me to get to the Burlington airport? I know parking my car there could cost me an easy $80. Since I just moved to VT, I don't have anyone that I could ask to drive me there. Any idea what I should do? Any and all input are much appreciated.

If you have an early am flight and stay at the Best Western Windjammer the night before the flight, you can leave your car there for no extra charge. That'll probably be more expensive than $80 though!
The airport does have non-garage long term parking which is a bit cheaper than the garage. Also, try calling Thrifty on Williston Road as they have parking there as well that is supposidly a bit cheaper than the Airport.
Good luck!

Greyhound is cheaper than parking, and I believe there's 4 or 5 busses a day. There's also, depending on how much luggage you have, a commuter bus from Montpelier to downtown Burlington. It's very cheap, but it runs very specific times...and again, if you have a ton of luggage please do NOT even try. With the disgusting gas prices we're enduring, ridership is way up, and folks will not be thrilled with surrendering a seat to your American Tourister!

From both, you'll need a cab to the airport from Downtown, but again it's a heck of a lot cheaper than parking at the airport.

Incidentally, 2 weeks at the airport is going to cost you WAY more than $80!

You're right.. it occurred to me after I posted my inquiry that it'd cost way more than 80 bucks. But thanks for the tip!

I hate paying for parking! Money in the garbage. Must be a way to park a few streets away for free???
