As a long long time Shaklee user I once tried my hand at selling on the side because I so believe in the product. But just like you can never change some ones mind on this forum, you can not change peoples habbits. Never ever ever!
You can give away free samples of cosmetics or vitamins and tell them to try it. A year down the road you happen to visit and go into their cabinet for a glass to get a drink and there you see the vitamins you gave them a year ago. Never opened. And right next to it is a bottle of that disgusting coal tar infested Centrum or worse yet Flintsones vitamins that are made from industrial waste and mixed with sugar.
Even under perfect circumstances, everyone and their brother is an Avon distributor. How can you compete? How can you make enough to survive on with the peanuts they pay in commissions?
There are other better ideas but I know your mind is made up. Just google Avon dealers and then your city as key words and your screen will light up the sky. Then think about how many people want to buy it and do the math.
Good luck though......

Not really looking to make a boat load of money. Just like the fact I get the stuff 1/2 off and want to make a little extra money. I also want to use it to teach myself how to network and be more open and friendly with people.
Thank you for your response
