Money may not buy happiness, but it sure is nicer to be miserable and rich than miserable and poor.

Well one thing is for certain:

Money can't buy poverty.

I'd live right where I do now. The only other place I'd consider living is in La Ribera, Baja California Sur.

The Moon ... or maybe Uranus. I'd love one day, just to be able to say to somebody "I live on Uranus!"

So far, I'd say a mansion by the beach, maybe in Laguna Beach, Newport Beach, or San Diego. Maybe Pacific Palisades, Holmby Hills, or Bel Air. Now, I haven't been in Northern CA much, so I'd have to see what that has to offer too.
Interesting question. I'm not sure if I would want to live in LA proper with all that smog, air pollution, and traffic. I mean the beach is nice, living in a mansion in the foothills of Malibu or Santa Monica. But I don't know if it is worth it. The people aren't all that great. I would say somewhere in the inland empire. With all the green grass and trees like my native FL. I'm thinking a nice 2-story $800,000 house in Rancho Cucamonga.

Big Sur. We currently live in the CA valley, and vacation in Big Sur. Such an awesome blend of mountains and ocean, but not hot like in southern CA.
