Hello, we are moving from Southern CA to Portland, Oregon. I called a couple of movers and the quotes for moving a minimal 1 bedroom apartment worth stuff was shocking. I am hoping someone here can recommend a good moving company that doesn't charge an arm and a leg. I am vary of going with cheapest one since there is a chance of loss of quality.. You now .. "You get what you pay for" and all...

TIA

Thank you for replying.

I am driving with hub, 2 kids and 2 dogs, I think I will avoid Uhaul for this move. Are there other options that you know are old through experience?

Hmm, 2 men and a truck.

But I was young once myself (not that I'm that old), and moved myself, wife and 2 kids under 5 with a 2 bedroom townhouse. Wasn't that bad actually. No dogs though.

Two Men and a Truck for me as well. My last move with them went perfectly and the price was reasonable.

We just recently moved from Salem, OR to San Luis Obispo county. We were happy with Cross Town movers based in Oregon (Portland, Salem, Eugene).
