To all you people who make believe new jersey is humid and muggy: sayreville new jersey recorded a dew point of -99 degrees in 2011. that NEGATIVE 99 degree dew point.tell me the last time long beach or santa monica recorded a dew point that low? At that point in time new jersey was more dry than california. booya

Apparently this genius isn't aware of the default "fault setting" for certain digital weather stations.

At what time of year was this -99 degree dewpoint? Most people know east coast winters are drier ( not talking about precipitation, but drier air in general) than west coast winters, and east coast summers are way more humid than west coast summers. Besides who cares? I have lived on both coasts, they are both different and both beautiful in their own way. No need to be " ashamed" of east coast weather. It is what it is.

Aside from the fact that a minus relative humidity reading is completely contravenes the laws of physics, I'm VERY impressed.

Plus with that reading, all of the residents would lose approximately 40% of their body weight in 24 hours.
