What is ruined? I get so sick of people whining and complaining. It seems all the whiners are conservatives, so what is the problem here? Normal people are happy, aberrant people are not?

Again, what the hell is ruined?

Nobody has ever asked me what church I attend, nor do they care that I don't.

So many things about why I love my home state but one thing that stands out is the fact that it evokes such strong sentiments by many. It's very controversial and addictive. It's highly entertaining. It always seems to effortlessly grab everyone's attention. What happens here, bad or good, everyone stops to see what happens next.

California isn't boring. That's for sure.

This us proven daily by the huge numbers of out-of-staters who can't seem to quit us, Ennis. Moths to our fascinating flame.
