What I find interesting is more folks comment about plastic bags than who's going to run for governor.

Maybe gubernatorial candidates should place paper bags over their heads marked X and Y, then there might be more grassroots participation in politics.

I just wish they would remove the "D" and "R" from the ballot. Maybe people would actually take a second to learn about the person they are voting for.

People can use bags. Can't say as much about gubernatorial candidates.

I didn't even know they were debating either. But, I don't even have a TV anymore. I think I'll watch it on YouTube, though, where I can fast forward...

Nobody expects to hear anything earth shattering from politicians anymore. We expect one side to say, "Blah blah blah." For the other side to say, "Funny you should say Blah blah blah. When I say, Blah blah blah."

I can only guess what came up in the discussion. Whoever is in office is to blame for all of the regulations and laws that came before him, and that he has no control over and wasn't around to vote into being anyway.

They will both spew all of the needs of California, as if we don't know, and as if spewing them in a forceful manner means they can actually do anything about it.

Sheesh, just ask Schwartzenegger how much power a governor actually has.

I'm a Democrat, but I voted for Arnold. And honestly, I liked his idea of trying to run the state like a real business. The real folks in power (aka the legislature) soon put a stop to that thinking for Arnold. He went in so gung-ho. It was sad how they shot him down.

That said, I actually like Gov. Moonbeam. Always have. But, even still, I don't really want to watch him posture for an hour in a "debate."

I love it… "free stuff" from a Republican! But hey, it worked for him when he was a Wall Street insider giving away billions in TARP money!

Well, there you go. I'm certainly not going to vote for googly eyes. Issue closed.
