So you basically just went off on a tangent rather than directly address the statement you were responding to? Pretty hard to debate with someone when they have a short attention span and respond with random tangents. Oh well.

I did in 2000 in the IE and sold it in 2009 for about a 50% profit.

Bought my current home with cash.

Uh, no. Just a nice inland part of ..... SoCal and about 45 minutes to several beaches or the mountains or the desert. Quite nice and every afternoon in the Summer we would turn off the air at about 3PM and let the ocean breezes that came through cool everything down. And better traffic than LA or OC.

Riiiight. No one wants to live in Newport Beach. Keep telling yourself that. Hurry....you can pick up the least expensive single family house in Newport Beach where you actually own the land. It has been reduced to $775,000. Or just write a check for the most expensive house currently on the market there. Only $35,000,000. Oh wait, neither would fit into your budget.

Came to this fight late. Quick internet check shows the CA poverty rate not in the top ten, 20 or 30. Anti CA troll strikes again!
