But, the more pressing issue is finding a job. Landlords in San Francisco aren't going to rent you an apartment if you don't have a job. And, where you'll be working will determine which areas will be best for you to live in.

So, what steps are you taking to find a job in San Francisco and/or Orlando? Which websites have you been using to hunt for job openings? Are you getting any responses when you send your resume out to companies?

I hope you won't take this the wrong way, but one thing I'd suggest after reading your posts is that it might be helpful to have a native English speaker proof-read your resume and cover letters. This is especially true if you are applying for jobs like "marketer" or "facebook manager" or even "website designer."

U.S. employers hiring full time employees for those types of positions can easily get turned off when they see a lot of grammatical and spelling errors in application materials.

So, if you're having trouble finding work (either in California or in Orlando), that might be worth considering before hitting the more competitive Bay area job market.

You may also want to consider talking with a career consultant to go over your resume and to get some advice about applying for jobs in the U.S.

Many community colleges in the U.S. offer these services or have classes to help you plan a job search. They also may offer short certificate programs that could help you beef up your resume to make you a more attractive job candidate.

I *think* the closest community college in Orlando is this one: Certificate Programs < Valencia College

If you want to invest in hiring a private career consultant to advise you, I'd recommend sticking with members of the organization below:

Good luck with your job hunt!
Rosie, thank you for your generosity to others. You have the patience of a saint.
