Looks like California's grid is in trouble....

California ISO - Alert Warning Emergency Notices

Worst yet, the dams in eastern Washington are committed to sending power to western Washington and Oregon. The Industrial Wind Areas in eastern Washington are NOT generating electricity.

BPA is still sending as much electricity to California as it can but it appears not enough.

The good news is that it is suppose to get windy in Washington state this weekend, and there might be "some" excess electricity to send to California.

I thought that Newsom keeping the nuclear plant on-line and the building of new natural gas generating plants would be enough to prevent a electricity shortage in California.

Good luck, and stay cool.

Well I'm not hurting the grid, my PGE meter broke so I'm already going without A/C, laundry and half my outlets. I have two lights on and a vornado blowing on me, which is the best I can do.
