Actually, July was quite temperate. I've lived here all of my life, and it always seems that if part of the summer is nice and cool, then the fall temps have to make up for it. I'm with you, though. My air conditioner is on, and we're only three days away from November!

doesnt seem all that unusual really. we'll get our first cool wave sometime in late august or early september(like we did this year), but then we'll have 3 or 4 heatwaves until after halloween as temperatures settle.

this past week was offshore flows with 90+ day temps and ~55 night temps, which is a large swing and not normal, just indicative of another weather system in the area.

I drained my downdraft cooler a few weeks ago as i always do in mid oct & this yr i regret it.Im currently running 3 fans & just dealing with it.My power windows in my car dont work & the a/c needs recharged.I have driven with only hot air coming out of my vents this past summer. The 2 prev summers at least the passenger side window went down.Im just glad i have not been in a traffic jam so far (knocks on wood).Im looking forward to the cooler weather. This weekend its suppose to be a comfy 75 degrees.hmmmmm....we shall see.Oh...yucaipa is 70 miles east of los angeles in the foothills.Elevation:2500 ft.
