I may be going separate ways from my husband, tell me where in California is decent for sharing apartment with another decent lady. City where no high crimes and near training centre such as college. I like to take this private moment from my husband to upgrade myself.

Good for you on the upgrade!! California is a great place to live if your laid back and open minded. I cannot think of any particular area with no crime, there is crime everywhere. Some places less than others but you always hear people saying, " nothing like that ever happens here" when they are shocked to learn that a crime happened in their neighborhood.
You might want to explore San Francisco. Good luck!!

The communities of San Luis Obispo County are safe and decent, excellent schools. Cuesta College and Cal Poly.
