I wonder how such a law would be worded. Would seem to be quite enticing for various legal challenges. It's all in the wording though. This is a great example of a stealth tax. Many voters do not even realize that they will ultimately pay much of this tax.

The envious Fabians picture a stereotype of "corporate fat cats" rooted in the antiquated family owned and run robber baron companies of the late 1800s. The poison pen of Upton Sinclair the gift that keeps on giving. In reality today's enterprises are scientifically managed and micromanaged by the board and shareholders, the only "fat cat" is John Q. Investor, that'd be the man or woman on the street! So, the fat cat IS the prolitariat!

Oy ...

I have often said that it is quite apparent that much of the public does not get the concept of a publicly traded corporation; which most of those big companies are.

Looks like the businesses thinking about leaving have had the old iron curtain dropped on them and they are now punished for leaving.

I get what he's trying to do, I just don't see how this is workable in the slightest.

The numbers just won't add up, Brown is trying to control what he can't control.
