This article explains how Public Unions are trying to pass legislation to protect their bloated pension plans from the threat of city bankruptcy at the taxpayer’s expense. It is ironic that in many cases it was greedy public unions that drove many of these cities into bankruptcy in the first place. Now they want a golden safety net paid for by the same taxpayers they have been screwing all along. Time to call your representatives!

Just anouther anti-union rant. The unions involved with city work already work for 80% of what they would earn in private work. What the bill is about is protecting pensions from the eminent bankruptcy.
