I am in process of purchasing a 2000 Allegra Bay 37 ft class a with Triton V-10 motor with 43000 miles. Has all major options and then some.
Has anyone had any concerns on this and is it good for all seasons. I was told by seller it is. Was told wholesale price is 27,000.00 and I am getting it for 15,000.00.
Is this a good deal?
I will be living full time in this 5 days a week for a job away from my home town.

How recently were the tires and brakes (and wheel seals, shocks, etc) replaced/rebuilt?
Are all component systems tested and functioning well?
Has your mechanic checked the engine and drive line?
One owner with all service records and mileage log?

It has new tires and some tiles were chipped inside. They are being replaced and carpet cleaned. It was driven 450 miles with mechanic driving and ran well. Generator works, mechanic will be taking to shop and going over everything mechanical and electrical and replacing what is needed.
It has all service records and manuals for operating everything. I have purchased this and it will be in shop for 1 week to check out.

NADA value is wholesale trade in is 28,000.00 and retail is 38,000.00.
I bought for 15,000.00
So much for the "I am in process of purchasing a..." and "Is this a good deal?" questions.
Enjoy it in good health.
Thanks for info!! I needed a place to live asap and did not want to get an apartment for lease and pay all deposits, etc. If I quit job I would be stuck with apartment. We were getting an RV anyway and will be able to use it and always sell for good profit.

Famous last word of many a boat / RV owner.
I would say, enjoy it, drive it little (fuel expense / depreciation), and feel lucky to break even when / if you sell it.
I am in a similar case... need lodging in a remote job location.
Can't quite decide best path forward... BUt I do have my 20 mpg small class C as one option. (unlikely). I really don't care for living in an RV, but many do it very successfully.
