We bought our SIL a Yeti couple of years ago to use when he go kayak fishing
He likes it but he rarely goes kayak fishing and likely could have gotten by using a better quality Coleman--but it is a status item to certain extent--and for Christmas gift makes a nice impression...
My husband bought a Yeti can cooler and loves it--
He likes to sip his drinks and using the Yeti keeps contents cold for hours even if it is sitting outside
