Are there any manufacturers of residential propane furnaces that still sell furnace with standing pilot.
Not glow plug or other type of ignition.
A standing pilot.
Are you looking for a "wall furnace" or one of those that sits in the basement??
We have a direct vent "wall furnace" that sits in our living room.
We have an off-grid house so replaced our ignition and fan-driven heater with one that just had a pilot light.
I cannot remember the name of the company.
Do you really want a pilot light furnace?? We never had a problem with our ignition furnace. It was the electrical draw that finally got me to replace it.
The pilot light furnace is NOISY. Yes, we live in a real quiet area. When there is no man-caused noise it is amazing how annoying a pilot light can be!! We have also had the pilot light blow out in very high wind events.
