We are flying into Boston prior to the 4th of July and heading north along the coast line. We would like to drive into Nova Scotia or New Brunswick as we have never been.

We will only have a couple of days there. Which one would be enjoy seeing the most? Which one offers the most to do or see in such a short time?

We definitely want to do a whale watching tour probably easier from Maine into the Bay of Fundy I guess. We would love to see some ice bergs but it may be to late in the season or we may be to far south.

What do you suggest? Also any accommodations we should check out?

Thank you.

From Boston to St John New Brunswick =500 miles
Boston to Halifax Nova Scotia=700 miles
A bit of a drive with your limited time frame, why not compromise and go to Bar Harbor Maine
Bar Harbor Maine Insider Visitor's Guide
And forget about icebergs unless you want to fly to northern Newfoundland.=1400 miles.

I suggest the Maine Coast East of Bar Harbor. That is what they mean by Down East.
