"Stuff" bought from the USA and Europe get the once over,
and you'll probably be assessed duty, BUT
"STUFF" from CHINA usually gets a free pass!!!!!!!11

That's because goods from China are so poorly manufactured that they will probably fall apart and/or need replacing within a week of receiving them, and the Canadian government will still be able to collect their taxes.
