Close enough. Canadian C-Ders Golf Tournament at Mike's favourite Houston golf club.

Next January.

No problem. I'll make sure the pool is heated too.

Definitely easier to move to Canada.

We'll pretty much take anyone with a bachelor's degree who speaks one of the official languages, unless you're Irish, for some reason.

Seems about right looking at the requirments, you just need a job offer, and no canadians can want said job.

I agree with torontocheeka (although I don't get the joke about being irish).

Definitely far easier to move to settle down in Canada. However, it is not difficult for a Canadian to work in the US temporarily.

I have to disagree. I've been looking into moving to Canada after undergrad, but I can't because the med schools there don't want non-Canadians. AND to get a medical residency afterwards, you have to be a Canadian citizen or PR. Even if I decide not to go to med school, I have no working experience, and jobs go to Canadians first. I'm young, educated, and financially well-off, English is my native language, I could assimilate easily, and I'd love to make Canada a better place, but I won't be able to move for at least a decade.

Having said that, immigrating to the US isn't exactly a cakewalk either. I moved here when I was just under 5 and didn't become a citizen until I was 19. My parents were doing the heavy lifting, and I could tell it was a very frustrating process.
